Hawaii Vacation–Part 2–Maui

The second in our series of Hawaii vacations, this article focuses on the island of Maui. Maui is different from the rest of the Hawaiian Islands. Provides adventure in paradise at every turn. If you have just spent a week in Hawaii, this is one of the best places to be.

The accommodation is widely available on Maui, including many places, cottages, houses, hostels and apartments, many of which offer spectacular views of the banks. Several golf courses are world class located in Maui.

For example, a small island, Maui is full of “enjoyable adventure – and a comfortable temperature, ranging from 75 to a minimum and 90 low to high. In addition, the water is warm all year round (variable 7-80 degrees).

With its beautiful beaches and resorts, Maui has many activities. helicopter tours, golf, watersports, submarine rides can also be found on Maui.

The landscape is varied. It is often known as the Valley Island because of the great valley that lies between two volcanoes. In the wet side, east of the mountains there hectares of rainforest. It provides an opportunity to view exquisite tropicalepesce, lobsters, crabs and coral life, including black coral.

Finally, if you want to explore other islands, day trips you can take ferry to Molokai or Lanai. Ferries depart daily from the pier at Lahaina, Maui.

Hawaii Vacation–Part 1–Oahu

The first of our four-part series of Hawaii vacations takes us to the island of Oahu, the “Meeting”. In later articles, explore the islands of Maui, Kauai and the Big Island.

Oahu is the third largest island of Hawaii and its further developed. Honolulu is the center of all the islands combined, offering many activities and facilities, along with a feeling of escape and relaxation in a mild climate all year round.

Nearly three-quarters of Hawaii is close to 1. 2 million inhabitants and about 400,000 live on Oahu in Honolulu.

Oahu is a good place to start your vacation in Hawaii. Most flights arrive in Honolulu from the Americas and in other places than any other airport in Hawaii.

It is also the cheapest to visit the island of Hawaii. The only island that is cheap bus service throughout the island, you can experience the island without having to rent a car.

Oahu has mountains rising from the coast to 2,000 feet with fragrant flowers, sparkling waterfalls and tropical forest. average daily temperatures are 70 degrees during the coldest months, February and March, and about 85 degrees during the hottest months, August and September.

Most hotels are located around Oahu Waikiki, a good base for your adventures on the island. Besides the usual shopping malls, bookstores, restaurants, bars, art museums, entertainment and cultural activities of a typical American city, Honolulu, Hawaii is unique offerings.

Hanauma Bay, east of Waikiki is the best diving area in all the islands, while Kailua Bay is the top windsurfing on the island. There are many types of activities. From surfing and diving cruise travel by helicopter or dinner, you can find here.

No trip to Oahu would be complete without a visit to the North Coast surfing capital of the world. This part of Oahu remains rural and undeveloped in some areas. The hotel and golf course at Turtle Bay are the only resource in the area.

Haleiwa, the main town on the north coast, is 24 miles north of Honolulu. It’s been a mecca for surfers from around the world since 1960, however, is not a place for novice surfers. This is an easy day trip from Waikiki.

Hawaii Vacation–Part 4–Kauai

Hawaii Vacation Our series continues with the island of Kauai, the fourth and final island described in this series.

This small island has an incredible variety of landscapes. Sculpted over six million years by the forces of nature, its landscapes ranging from spectacular cliffs of Na Pali on the north coast of the spectacular Waimea Canyon. Kaui slower pace seems more appropriate for a quiet family vacation or a rugged outdoor adventure.

The oldest and northernmost of the four main islands of Hawaii, Kauai only covers 553 miles square, is a hallmark, “” circular island with a population of 51,000 inhabitants.

Like the other Hawaiian islands, the warmest and coldest months only differ by 8 degrees or less. The sea temperature is remarkably constant, ranging between 72-76 degrees year round.

The south and west coasts have long sandy beaches. And there are the majestic, wide valleys, and the Kalalau Valley on the Na Pali coast.

But most of the island can be seen only by air. To see Kauai by helicopter is like nothing else in the world, with its waterfalls remote, uninhabited hidden canyons and valleys.

The majestic Napali coast offers the opportunity of world-class snorkeling. No other place in Hawaii offers unique formations, such as those on Niihau, formed by ocean currents and waves of 6 million years!
