Hawaii Vacation Our series continues with the island of Kauai, the fourth and final island described in this series.
This small island has an incredible variety of landscapes. Sculpted over six million years by the forces of nature, its landscapes ranging from spectacular cliffs of Na Pali on the north coast of the spectacular Waimea Canyon. Kaui slower pace seems more appropriate for a quiet family vacation or a rugged outdoor adventure.
The oldest and northernmost of the four main islands of Hawaii, Kauai only covers 553 miles square, is a hallmark, “” circular island with a population of 51,000 inhabitants.

But most of the island can be seen only by air. To see Kauai by helicopter is like nothing else in the world, with its waterfalls remote, uninhabited hidden canyons and valleys.
The majestic Napali coast offers the opportunity of world-class snorkeling. No other place in Hawaii offers unique formations, such as those on Niihau, formed by ocean currents and waves of 6 million years!
